$(400)total for a muffler and a black dual tip with a footlong of extra pipe thats $80extra(the pipe)cmon isnt it suppose to be supported an not crushed.(lazyness)(upcharged)

Please don’t waste your time, money, or sanity at this place. I took my vehicle in expecting a repair—not a months-long nightmare. It took them months just to get it “running,” only for me to end up stranded three hours later on Montecristo. That alone should’ve been my warning sign. They picked my vehicle back up, saying they’d fix it right away. Instead, I got nothing but excuses for over six months. Calls ignored. Messages unanswered. Every excuse you can think of—“we’re sick,” “the part isn’t in yet,” “we’ll get to it soon.” Just constant runaround. Let’s talk about the money. I paid over $2,000, just to be told I still owed more so they could fix the same issue again. How does that make any sense? Why am I paying twice for a job that should’ve been done right the first time? To make it worse, I was told they prioritize insurance claim vehicles first. So even though I paid cash, my vehicle got pushed aside. Apparently, unless an insurance company is involved, you’re not a priority. This place doesn’t just waste your money—it wastes your time and tests your patience. Do yourself a favor: take your business somewhere else.

Don't know why all the negative reviews me and my family have been going to Jesse's Muffler shop for years I highly recommend this shop always does a great job with our muffler problems,👍👍

The most costly repair ever. Took my truck in for catalytic replacements. Took it back because the replacements were not compatible and truck was giving me a engine light signal. Replaced the catalytics again and had to return to the shop due to an exhaust leak. They took off the manifolds and shaved them. I picked up the truck and it had major misfire issues. Took it back and they said it had nothing to do with their repair. They finally agreed to take a look at it since I wasn’t having any misfire issues prior. Their mechanic said it was going to be the engine lifters. I questioned the issue because I didn’t hear the tapping you normally hear when the lifters are bad. It was going to be a costly repair. I decided to get a second opinion and took it to a reputable mechanic in mcallen. Turned out to be a bad coil wire that was the issue. Fast forward 3 months and the weld came off. Welds did not penetrate into the pipe. Judging by the looks of the other weld, the same thing is going to happen to that pipe.

These guys are crooks. Gama the manager took my money and they never did anything to fix the problem on my truck. They kept charging me for random parts that had nothing to do with the problem. I was asked to buy spark plugs and cables as they were guessing to solve the problem but they refused to install them. Spent the money on extra parts and service and the truck kept breaking down on me. Every time I took my tuck it was with a full tank, to my surprise when I’d pick it up it would be on empty. When I would ask why it was empty they said they used it to “test drive it” only to find random car parts on the trucks bed. Parts that didn’t belong to my truck. The last time I got my tuck back from them, it had dents all over the body. I took my tuck clean with a fresh paint job and they returned it scuffed and damaged all the way to the metal. When I spoke to Gama he said they would be responsible to pint it. Well it’s been months and nothing. Jesse the owner said he’d be responsible and still nothing. They had my truck a total of 4 times. After the third return I asked for my money back and they said they would have to take off parts, mind you parts that didn’t make a difference in
